Jeddah is the second largest city in Saudi Arabia, and the main port of the Kingdom on the Red Sea. It is the main gateway through which most Muslim pilgrims arrive by air and sea to perform Omrah and Hajj or to visit the two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Medinah. The area inhabited is more than 1,500 square km, and the population is around two million inhabitants.
