About the Chamber
To be the successful model for the influential and trusted business sector
The Jeddah Chamber is considered one of the oldest commerce chambers in the Kingdom, since it was founded by a Royal decree in 1365 H – 1946, and it is an entity with an administrative structure that includes many managerial sectors and divisions, handling many duties and activities that are focused on the interests of its subscribers from the business sector, overcoming the challenges and cases they are faced with, improving the services provided and spreading it to different governorates in the region.
With its wide array of services and corporate functions, the Jeddah Chamber became a pillar of national development, dedicating its efforts to improve the private sector, so it can contribute in its turn to supporting the developmental revolution that the Kingdom is witnessing. It also aims to help overcome current challenges and future variables in the business environment and activate its role in the national development plans, all the while working on motivating and efficiently contributing in increasing the rate of contribution in the non-oil GDP, in various economical activities, thus elevating the economy of the Arab region.

The Chamber's role has evolved based on economical developments that happened generally in the Kingdom, and in Jeddah specifically. The work process and the Chamber's evolution were accompanied by the evolution of city of Jeddah, built on scientific plans, stemming from the guidance of the Boards of Directors, the Chamber’s executive body, and sectoral committees and boards, that represent, each on their own, a denomination of the various denominations present in the Chamber's commercial, industrial, and professional society in light of the general economical policies of the state. This is evident in the many indicators that validate the increase of Jeddah's growth rate in economical and non-economical sectors
