Today, Jeddah Chamber hosted a workshop entitled "Enablers for the Military Industries," organized by the General Authority for Military Industries. The event was attended by the Deputy Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries for Localization, Mohammed bin Saleh Al- Adhal, the First Vice President of the Board of Directors of Jeddah Chamber, Eng. Raed bin Ibrahim Al-Mudhahim, the Secretary-General of the Chamber, Ramez bin Mansour Al-Ghalib, and a number of members of the Chamber's Board of Directors.

During the workshop, the Kingdom's strategy for localizing the military sector supply chain was introduced, aiming to enhance the Kingdom's strategic independence and build a sustainable local military industrial sector.

The workshop also presented the Kingdom's roadmap for localizing more than 50% of military spending by 2030, and the role of the General Authority for Military Industries in regulating the sector, issuing licenses to industrial establishments, and building specialized human capital to meet the requirements and needs of the military industries sector.

The workshop shed light on the Kingdom's progress in achieving this transformation and the activation of the General Authority for Military Industries' strategic initiatives, including sector regulation policies, awareness with relevant entities regarding the systemized licensing platform for establishments, the investment opportunities platform, and investment incentives to encourage those interested in investing in the military industrial sector.

For his part, the Deputy Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries for Localization, Mohammed bin Saleh Al- Adhl, praised the cooperation of Jeddah Chamber in organizing this workshop, which is part of the Authority's aspirations to create an attractive and stimulating investment environment for local and international investors, enabling them to access sector investment opportunities with ease and achieve integration between all entities related to the military industries sector in the Kingdom.
