Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdul-Aziz Square, Jeddah Governorate

The idea of the square was initiated by Jeddah businessmen, studied by Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and then implemented by Jeddah Municipality as an expression of love and appreciation for His Highness Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdul-Aziz. The Idea was to create an innovative visual scene designed to change the concept of squares and transform them from intersections regulating traffic into an urban space with artistic features. The design idea adopts the clock element shown through successive circles with figures therein, one around the square directly, and the other to the pedestrian crossings. The water columns represent the hour and minute hands.
