Terms of use of social media for Jeddah Chamber

These Terms apply to our social networking sites/pages owned and operated by the Chamber, which is hereby referred to as "Jeddah Chamber". By using our social networking sites, you agree to be bound by these terms and guidelines issued by the Jeddah Chamber. If you disagree with any of these terms, please do not use nor access our social networks. 

You hereby agree to abide by the Jeddah Chamber social media guidelines with respect to any content that you submit/share on our websites, and you also acknowledge that we have the right to modify or delete any content at our sole discretion. You also agree to your undertaking not to conduct activities that violate any applicable law or regulation in force on our websites or the terms and guidelines of the Jeddah Chamber. You also acknowledge that any unauthorized use of our sites or misuse of any of the information transmitted on any of our sites is strictly prohibited.

The contents available on our sites are the property of the Chamber and you may not do the following: modify or copy the materials except as otherwise provided; use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any purpose for the public (whether commercial or non-commercial) without the prior and documented permission of the Chamber; delete any copyright notices or other proprietary notices from the materials.

The information and contents are provided on our sites for the purposes of informing, and are not considered an offer for sale. The Jeddah Chamber is not responsible for any content sent by users of the sites, including the content sent by employees or companies that deal with the Chamber who are not considered administrative officials authorized to our sites. The Jeddah Chamber does not edit content sent by third parties, and it is not responsible for responses and comments by third parties, whether on its account or in other accounts, as it expresses the views or positions of its owners only and does not reflect the Chamber’s. In addition, the Chamber will remove any content that includes abuse, defamation, irrelevant subject matter or inappropriate style on our social networking sites. Also, the Chamber will not be held responsible for the contents sent by third parties on its channels, which may include added texts and files downloaded or available in one of the links, such as images, videos, audio messages, documents, etc. except as otherwise expressly agreed with the Chamber.

Please note that when you visit the Jeddah Chamber website through social networking sites, you are also subject to the terms and conditions of the Chamber's website.

The Jeddah Chamber shall not, in any case, be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the materials on the Chamber's social networking sites, even if the Chamber has been notified verbally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. In addition, the Jeddah Chamber will not be liable in any way for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these conditions or any applicable guidelines, or from any errors or technical, human or software deficiencies that are discovered on our sites. You also agree to compensate the Jeddah Chamber for any damage to its websites, pages, or officials/employees arising from your misuse of our sites or violation of the applicable terms or guidelines.

The use of this site and social networking sites is subject to the interpretation of the terms and conditions contained in this agreement for all laws in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Jeddah Chamber may modify the content and functionality of its social networking site/s, or completely terminate any of its sites, at any time without prior notice, at the sole discretion of the Chamber.

Jeddah Chamber may revise these Terms of Use at any time without notice. By your use of the sites, you agree to be bound by the then applicable version of these Terms of Use. Any modifications to these Terms shall be deemed effective as of the date on which they are posted

Your access to our social networking site/s should not be considered in any way as an agency on behalf of the Chamber, or that any intellectual rights or ownership of information be granted to any other party just for browsing our sites or our pages on social networking sites. You also agree that in the context of your access and use of the site, it will not result in the creation of any relationship that binds you with the Chamber other than any existing legal or formal relationship that you may have with us.

Inquiries will be answered within a maximum of 24 hours, and any responses that are inappropriate for the rules or identity of the Chamber will be deleted or ignored without prior notice.
