The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum entitled "Innovation Towards Entrepreneurship" concluded its activities in Jeddah today with a dialogue session moderated by Sarah bint Ayed Al-Ayed, a member of the Board of Directors of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, on the competitiveness of entrepreneurship, with the participation of the Vice Dean of Scientific Research for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Jeddah, Dr. Amal Bukhari, and the Director of E-Learning in the Center for Entrepreneurship at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology "KAUST" are Engineer Haitham Al-Homsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Namaa Al-Baraka Limited Company, Rayan Qutub, and founding partner of Classera Company, Muhammad Al-Ashmawy.
The dialogue session covered the role of innovative entrepreneurship in strengthening the knowledge economy system in the Kingdom, and strengthening partnership between universities and the private sector in establishing and supporting entrepreneurial projects, in addition to discussing proposed solutions for the competitiveness of entrepreneurship in the Kingdom. This is in accordance with the aspirations of the forum to work on empowering the owners of ideas and innovations, in the presence of specialists in the fields of entrepreneurship, and citing the participation of 20 innovative male and female entrepreneurs in the exhibition accompanying the forum.
The forum also witnessed a dialogue session on entrepreneurs between reality and aspirations in light of Vision 2030, moderated by Mona Siraj, Assistant Director of Public Relations, Marketing and Media at Red Sea International, with the participation of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Diyar Company, Engineer Muammar Al-Atawi, and the founder and CEO of Taffy Shahd Al-Jifri. and CEO of Scana Ventures, Faris Al Bardisi.
The session touched on the contribution of the regulatory, legislative and financing environment to entrepreneurship, the impact of global reports and competitive indicators on the internal environment of entrepreneurs, and the expected future outlook for entrepreneurship, in light of the innovation and entrepreneurship forum targeting to attract more than 10,000 innovators, including male and female entrepreneurs, ideas owners and inventors. business community and investors.
It is worth mentioning that the forum, which spanned over two days, was organized by the Jeddah Chamber in partnership with the University of Jeddah, under the auspices of His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week, with the participation of business establishments, investors and supporters of entrepreneurship, and touches on the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in establishing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and its contribution to advancing national development.
