The Quality Employment Forum "Kafaat" concluded its activities today. It was launched by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce with the support of Jeddah Governorate, in partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf” and the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation “SABIC”, represented by the SABIC National Initiative “Nusaned”; The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the General Organization for Social Insurance, and King Abdulaziz University, at the Chamber's Jeddah Center for Forums and Events.
The forum, which lasted for two days, targeted; Raising Nationalization rates, and supporting establishments with qualified national cadres in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
On this occasion, Acting Secretary General of the Jeddah Chamber, Ramiz Bin Mansour Al Ghaleb, thanked the partners who had a great impact in launching this qualitative career forum, which targeted more than 2,000 job opportunities for bachelor’s holders and above in the fields of engineering, nursing, pharmacy, tourism and hotel, security and safety, , quality and insurance, marketing, accounting, and graphic design.
He affirmed the Jeddah Chamber's support for the country's young men and women by providing them with promising job opportunities in cooperation with private sector institutions and companies. Pointing out that the "Competencies" forum was distinguished by providing a wide range of qualitative jobs, in addition to providing qualifying workshops for candidates, in addition to a set of professional guidance.
He noted the "goal" support for the salaries of those who are employed by 50%, not exceeding 3000 SAR; In order to support the achievement of this forum and its objectives.
For its part, SABIC, represented by the Local Content and Business Development Unit under its national initiative "Nusaned", announced SABIC's national engine to enable the Kingdom's Vision 2030; Presenting a proposal to involve middle management in the company that employs the largest number of male and female applicants during the forum; in a program for leaders under the name "Hem and Promise"; In addition to supporting companies hiring women from the forum by providing on-the-job training opportunities in SABIC offices in the Kingdom through the “Examination” program.
