On Tuesday, December 27, Jeddah Chamber will hold a workshop on the mechanism for issuing import permits for poultry, fish, aquatic products of animal origin, and eggs, in cooperation with the Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA), at the Chamber's headquarters. The workshop, in which Nasser Mobarak Allwimi, second registration and licensing specialist, Nimr Eid Alsahli, second port inspector, and Issam Mohammad Aldharwi, second port inspector, will speak, will deal with the following topics;

• An introductory overview on the mechanism for issuing import permits for the products;
• Registration and data accuracy in the import permit applications;
• General provisions for the import permits;
• Conditions for obtaining the import permits;
