The Jeddah Chamber organized the activities of the Industry Council’s meeting with the Saudi Export Development Authority under the title “Services and Initiatives of the Saudi Export Development Authority to improve the efficiency of the export environment and enhance the access of the national product to international markets.” In the presence of the Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Industry, Raed Al-Tayyar; And a number of representatives of the authority and those interested in the export sector in small, medium and large enterprises. The meeting was initiated by a member of the Industry Council at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, Turki Bin Muammar, welcoming the attendees and participants; It is useful that this meeting stems from its importance, as it brings together the business community with a government sector that aims to advance the development of Saudi exports, and serves the business community in a way that supports improving the efficiency of the export environment in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030; It introduces the work and tasks of the Saudi Export Development Authority. Foremost among them is increasing Saudi non-oil exports and opening up to global markets, and employing all its economic potential towards improving the efficiency of the export environment by setting programs and providing incentives to exporters, and encouraging Saudi products in international markets, raising their competitive quality and achieving their access to international markets, reflecting the status of the Saudi product and to be a tributary to the national economy. Bin Muammar discussed the role of the Industry Council in the Jeddah Chamber; Which is considered one of the seven sectoral councils emanating from the Jeddah Chamber within a graceful system that simulates the rapid movement of the government sector in terms of developments, regulations and regulations that support the realization of the Kingdom's vision 2030 This council represents the industrial sector to serve its aspirations and highlight its voice to develop and improve the business environment. Its role is not limited to highlighting the challenges of the industrial sector; Rather, it extends to what is more comprehensive than that; Where the work comes with the authority to contribute to raising the awareness of the industrial sector and achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to support the export sector and enhance the access of national products to global markets.
