Jeddah Chamber organizes an open meeting with the "Ministry of Transport" and the Saudi Industrial Development Fund

The Jeddah Chamber, represented by the Logistics Council, organized an open meeting with the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services and the Saudi Industrial Development Fund. This is to introduce the sectoral strategy for logistics services and the role of the Industrial Fund in financing the logistics sector. In the presence of the Undersecretary for Logistics Services, Engineer Loay Bin Omar Mashabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, Muhammad Bin Youssef Naghi, Director General of Empowerment of the Private Sector, Eng. Rayan Shahini, Director General of Communication and Spokesman for the Fund, Khalil Bin Abdulqadir Al Nimri, and Director of the Credit Department of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, Eng. Turki Al Akrash , investors in the logistics sector and representatives of the business community. At the outset of the meeting, the Vice-Chairman of the Chamber's Logistics Council, Eng. Hamdi Bin Ali Nadera, welcomed the attendees. Pointing out that the Logistics Council organized this open meeting with the Ministry of Transport and Logistics and the Saudi Industrial Development Fund; a point of pride which produces results that enrich this sector and serve its investors; In order to achieve development for this sector as an industry sought by the Kingdom's Vision 2030. He appreciated the attendance's cooperation and interaction in exchanging views and discussions, in order to reach an effective work mechanism and partnership that serves the progress of the logistics services sector. Stressing the readiness of the Logistics Board at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce to cooperate in meeting the aspirations of workers in this sector, calling for building bridges of communication between government sectors and representatives of the business community. To promote partnership and cooperation relations to the highest levels, and to support investment in logistics services. For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics for Logistics Services, Eng. Loay Bin Omar Mashabi, touched on the national strategy for transport and logistics services, which aims to develop the logistics sector, thus contributing to the consolidation of the Kingdom's position as a global logistics center linking the three continents, upgrading all transportation services and means, and enhancing integration in the system. Logistics services and modern modes of transportation, to support the comprehensive development process in the Kingdom, as the strategy is one of the main axes of the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. During the meeting, the Director General of Communication and the official spokesperson for the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, Khalil Bin Abdulqadir Al Nimri, discussed the advantages, incentives and programs provided by the Industrial Fund, and the mechanism for benefiting from the programs and initiatives of the Industrial Fund. The Director of the Credit Department at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, Eng. Turki Al Akrash, also mentioned; For the support provided by the Fund to the private sector; And with regard to the expansion of support for the logistics services sector. It is noteworthy that the meeting included a number of discussions and interventions, in addition to learning about the national strategy for transport and logistics services, and its role in developing all modes of transport and logistics services, while striving for solidarity between government and private agencies to advance this system, in light of the development of the transport industry and the developmental renaissance that has been achieved for the logistics sector in the Kingdom.
