Naghi confirmed that the Chamber continues to organize the events and forums in light of the reassuring financial situation.

Jeddah Chamber holds its General Assembly for the fiscal year 2022 and announces its final accounts and estimated budget for the current year

Mohammed Yousef Naghi, the Chairman of the Board Of Directors of Jeddah Chamber, confirmed that the Chamber will continue to organize the events and forums in the service of the business sectors in light of its reassuring financial situation during the past period, where he noted activation of the role of sectoral councils to advance the investment activity on basis of the promising components by which Jeddah Governorate and its strategic location are distinguished. By virtue of the efforts of its BOD members, the Chamber could contribute to advancing the development activity by activating the public-private partnership and efforts.

Mohammed Yousef Naghi confirmed so during the Chamber's general assembly meeting for the fiscal year 2022, during which the Board of Directors reviewed the various efforts and activities, at the forefront of which is expansion of launching its e-services to facilitate the matters for the businessmen and businesswomen who are members of the Chamber,  as well as the Chamber’s financial report for the same year, which includes the chartered accountant’s report, declaration of the final accounts for the fiscal year ending on 31/12/2022, and the estimated budget for the fiscal year 2023 AD, in accordance with the Chambers of Commerce Law and its Implementing regulations.

He pointed out that during the 22^nd session, Jeddah Chamber utilized its members' experiences to support the commercial, industrial and investment activity, enhance role of the private sector as a partner in development, ensure taking care of the interests of its members from the business sector, and ensure the financial sustainability by diversifying the sources of income, investing in new opportunities and building strategic partnership between the government sector and the private sector to promote the sustainable development.

He thanked His Excellency the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid Abdullah Al-Qasabi, for his support to the Chamber and thanked the BOD members who shared their ideas and proposals and contributed to prospecting the opportunities, thus enhancing the Chamber's role in offering its various services to the Business Council, and its endeavors by its members' experiences during the 22^nd session to support the commercial, industrial and investment activity, enhance role of the private sector as a partner in development, ensure taking care of the interests of its members from the business sector, and ensure the financial sustainability by diversifying the sources of income, investing in new opportunities, stimulating supportive regulations and laws and integrated institutional development as well as implementation of many projects in the field of digital transformation, to ensure diversity and achieve quality in customer services, thus contributing to increasing database of the Chamber’s members who exceed 160,000 members.

In addition, the meeting program included a video presentation of the Chamber's achievements during the past period, and opening the way for interventions and discussions.

He concluded the meeting by thanking the attendees for their participations and interaction with the matters presented by him, hoping success for all, and that our State will continue to be secure and stable under its wise leadership.
