The Fifth Gulf Businesswomen Forum 2023 concludes its event in Jeddah

Today in Jeddah, the Fifth Gulf Businesswomen Forum 2023 and the accompanying exhibition concluded its events in Jeddah under the theme "Gulf Women: Between Empowerment and Leadership" which lasted for two days with the participation of more than 1,000 persons from various Gulf and Arab countries. On behalf of His Highness Governor Of Makkah Province, His Highness Governor of Jeddah opened the Forum. The Forum was organized by the Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Federation of Saudi Chambers, and the Jeddah Chamber.

The fourth and final session of the Forum addressed the growth of women's entrepreneurship in KSA according to the findings of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 2016-2022, with the participation of Muhammad Azam Roomi, Professor of Entrepreneurship at Prince Mohammad bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship; Dr Haya Al-Dajani, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Director of the MBA's Signature Learning Experience at Mohammed bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship (MBSC); Dr. Basma Musleh Omair, the founder and CEO of Business Consulting and Services Company, and Rania Julaidan, the Director of Operations at Namaa Al Munawara Company.

Mr. Suhail Bakr Altayar, the CEO of Netaq Company for Organizing Exhibitions and Conferences (organizer), noted: By virtue of the Forum’s activities which highlight the Gulf women's role in the economic development, highlight the businesswomen's efforts and initiatives in the GCC countries, and act to overcome the challenges they encounter in the GCC countries; in light of the unlimited support received by the women from the Gulf leaders in the GCC countries, these acts contributed to continuous great successes for the Gulf women and the global reach thereof in their participation in various forums.

He emphasized that the forum sessions focused on the high status which the women reached in the GCC countries in general and the businesswomen who receive a great support from the GCC leaders, so they are enabled to achieve the great successes, in addition to topics related to investment and economics, creating strategic partnerships among the businesswomen in the GCC countries, and reviewing the studies conducted in the field of development of the local and Gulf investments for the businesswomen.
